I did a small series of pastel pieces on panels directly out the backdoor from my studio. I was experimenting with a hard surface and then sealing up the pastel so that ultimately they look like oils and do not need to be under glass. The sealing process darkens them and I liked the moodiness that that created.
This piece is currently unframed and will fit in a standard 7" x 5" frame.
