We do get a winter in Arizona. I was plein air painting along the Salt River in February, northeast of Phoenix and came upon this beautiful scene of winter salt grasses and a fallen tree. The contrast of the colors attracted me and the delicacy of lines. Just gorgeous.
This piece has a 1" thick profile and is unframed. For a contemporary look there is no need to frame.
