In The Golden Hour

This painting was part of  my 2023 series of blooming Palo Verde trees. Each spring I take advantage of the 3 to 4 weeks we get of glorious blooms. Painting only the wild ones, I work outside, en plein air, in pastels and then refine in my studio. Sometimes adding an oil medium to give emphasis. This particular piece is pure, soft pastel, painted in the late afternoon as the sun was setting and casting its golden hue.

This piece is available for shipping unframed or locally in a blond, maple frame with non reflective glass. Final dimensions are 27" x 32"x 1" in the frame.
